Kimberly-Clark Corporation has been named to Working Mother magazine’s “100 Best Companies” for 2017. The annual survey recognizes companies for leadership in creating progressive programs to help employees balance work and family. Working Mother cited Kimberly-Clark’s support for flexible work arrangements, paid leave and child care programs, and advancement opportunities for women. “Kimberly-Clark is honored to be named to the Working Mother ‘100 Best Companies’ list,” says Scott Boston, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Kimberly-Clark. “As a company with respected brands such as Huggies and Pull-Ups, we understand both the stresses and joys of family life and enthusiastically support workplace programs that make life easier for working parents.” “As a working mom, I am proud to work for a company that enables people to build strong careers while caring for their families,” said Rose Van Himbergen, commodity manager at Kimberly-Clark. “Kimberly-Clark’s unique culture helps employees be their best and achieve their goals in their personal and professional lives.” Working Mother recognized Van Himbergen as a Working Mother of the Year for her efforts leading the Parents Interactive Network, one of Kimberly-Clark’s employee resource groups, which assists parents and guardians in their efforts to balance work-home life, enhance their careers, and add value to the business.
